Caroline Mirieu de Labarre has been admitted to the Paris Bar since 2001, holds a Diploma of Corporate Counsel [Diplôme de Juriste Conseil d’Entreprise (D.J.C.E)], a master’s degree in business and tax law and a Magistere in Business Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, she also holds a Ph.D in law as she wrote a criminal business law thesis under the supervision of Professor Nicolas Molfessis at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
She started her career in major French and international business law firms (Bredin Prat, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer) where she was able to acquire a solid expertise in the management of civil, commercial and criminal litigations and in financial and stock markets litigations as well.
Then, she pursued her training at the AMF where she acquired an in-depth knowledge of financial litigations matters, first within the Instructions and Inspections Directorate and secondly as she embodied the representation of the Board on the Enforcement Committee.
She holds an LBB from the University of London and is regularly invited to speak at professional conferences in French and in English as well.
